Objective:
To enhance employability prospects of disadvantaged youth (18-25 years) by providing comprehensive education and skills training, bridging the gap between education and employment.
Specific Objectives:
1. Improve literacy and numeracy skills among 500 disadvantaged youth.
2. Provide vocational training in in-demand sectors (e.g., IT, healthcare, entrepreneurship).
3. Enhance soft skills (communication, teamwork, problem-solving).
4. Facilitate internships, apprenticeships, and job placements.
5. Foster entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.
Target Group:
– Disadvantaged youth (18-25 years)
– Unemployed or underemployed
– Low-income backgrounds
– Marginalized communities
Methodology:
1. Needs assessment and baseline survey
2. Curriculum development (literacy, numeracy, vocational skills)
3. Trainer capacity building
4. Mentorship and coaching
5. Internships, apprenticeships, and job placements
6. Entrepreneurship training and support
7. Monitoring and evaluation
Expected Outcomes:
1. Improved literacy and numeracy skills among 80% of participants.
2. 70% of participants gain employment or start their own business.
3. Enhanced soft skills and confidence among 90% of participants.
4. Established partnerships with 10 local businesses for internships and job placements.
