Objective:

To enhance climate resilience of rural communities by promoting solar-powered irrigation systems, improving agricultural productivity, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Specific Objectives:

1. Install 50 solar-powered irrigation systems for smallholder farmers.
2. Provide training on climate-resilient agriculture practices to 100 farmers.
3. Establish community-led maintenance and repair services for solar irrigation systems.
4. Reduce CO2 emissions by 150 tons annually.

Methodology:

1. Conduct baseline survey and community engagement.
2. Identify and select beneficiary farmers.
3. Procure and install solar-powered irrigation systems.
4. Provide training on climate-resilient agriculture practices.
5. Establish community-led maintenance and repair services.

Expected Outcomes:

1. Increased agricultural productivity by 30%.
2. Reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 150 tons annually.
3. Improved livelihoods for 100 smallholder farmers.
