Objectives:
1. To provide free services to farmers in Pakistan, particularly vulnerable and marginalized groups, to enhance food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
2. To empower farmers by advocating for their rights, ensuring access to resources, and promoting resilient agricultural practices.

Activities:
1. Farmer Training and Capacity Building:
– Organize training workshops on sustainable farming techniques, including organic farming, agroecology, and climate-smart practices.
– Conduct sessions on crop management, soil health improvement, water conservation, and pest and disease management.

2. Access to Resources:
– Establish seed banks at the community level to provide farmers with access to diverse and quality seeds.
– Facilitate partnerships with government agencies and agricultural institutes to provide free or subsidized inputs, such as fertilizers and pesticides.

3. Farmer Advisory Services:
– Offer personalized consultations to farmers, providing guidance on crop selection, market trends, farm planning, and sustainable land management.
– Provide information and support on accessing government programs, subsidies, and financial services.

4. Market Linkages and Value Addition:
– Facilitate linkages between farmers and local markets, restaurants, and food processing companies to improve market access and value addition.
– Assist farmers in forming producer groups and cooperatives to collectively market their products and negotiate fair prices.

5. Advocacy and Policy Support:
– Advocate for farmers’ rights, including secure land tenure, fair prices, and access to essential services, through engagement with policymakers and relevant stakeholders.
– Raise awareness about the importance of sustainable agriculture and lobby for policies that support smallholder farmers and sustainable practices.

6. Climate Resilience and Natural Resource Management:
– Conduct training sessions on climate change adaptation strategies, such as conservation agriculture and water-efficient irrigation methods.
– Promote agroforestry and encourage farmers to adopt sustainable land management practices to restore soil fertility, reduce erosion, and enhance biodiversity.

7. Gender and Social Inclusion:
– Ensure the participation and representation of women and marginalized communities in all activities, promoting gender equality and social inclusiveness.
– Develop gender-sensitive training modules and initiatives that address the specific challenges faced by women farmers.
