The “Elevating Women’s Power: Promoting Gender Equality in Climate Action” project aims to promote women’s empowerment and leadership in climate change adaptation and mitigation initiatives. We recognize that women often bear the brunt of the effects of climate change, yet their voices and contributions are frequently overlooked or undervalued. By creating spaces for women to step into leadership roles and connecting them with opportunities to influence decision-making processes, we can harness their unique perspectives and skills to drive effective and sustainable solutions for climate change.
Objectives:
1. Empower Women: This project will provide capacity-building workshops and training programs to enhance women’s knowledge and skills in climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies. By equipping them with the necessary tools and information, we will empower women to take an active role in addressing climate change challenges within their communities.
2. Foster Leadership: We will establish leadership programs specifically tailored to women, designed to cultivate their leadership potential and enhance their confidence in driving climate action.
