Objectives:

1- Enhance knowledge and skills of persons with disabilities on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)
2- Build capacity to respond to disasters

Activities:

1. Conduct training sessions on DRR: Organize training sessions for persons with disabilities on DRR concepts, disaster preparedness, and response.
2. Develop accessible training materials: Create training materials that are accessible to persons with disabilities, including braille, audio, and sign language.
3. Establish emergency response plans for persons with disabilities: Work with persons with disabilities to develop and implement emergency response plans that take into account their specific needs.

Budget: $8,500

Timeline: 5 months

Target Group: Persons with disabilities, including those with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities

Expected Outcomes:

– Increased knowledge and skills of persons with disabilities on DRR
– Improved capacity to respond to disasters
