Project Duration: 12 months
Project Objective:
To implement a comprehensive school-based program to prevent sexual violence, promote healthy relationships, and foster a culture of consent among high school students.
Problem Statement:
Sexual violence affects millions of students worldwide, perpetuating harmful norms and behaviors. Existing programs often focus on victim support, neglecting prevention and perpetrator accountability.
Methodology:
1. Needs Assessment: Conduct surveys and focus groups to understand students’ attitudes and experiences.
2. Curriculum Development: Create age-appropriate, inclusive materials addressing consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention.
3. Teacher Training: Provide educators with workshops and resources to facilitate program implementation.
4. Student Engagement: Deliver interactive sessions, discussions, and activities promoting consent and healthy relationships.
5. Parent and Community Involvement: Organize workshops and events engaging parents and community members.
6. Evaluation and Monitoring: Conduct pre/post surveys, focus groups, and program evaluations.
