I. Introduction:
This project aims to conduct training programs on community mobilization and awareness campaigns to actively engage and empower communities in ending violence against women. By equipping community members, leaders, and stakeholders with knowledge and skills, the project seeks to raise awareness, challenge social norms, and promote a culture of gender equality and non-violence. The project will be implemented over a six-month period in a target community.

II. Objectives:

1. To enhance the capacity of community members and leaders in addressing violence against women.
2. To raise awareness about the prevalence, causes, and consequences of violence against women.
3. To promote community-based strategies for preventing and responding to violence against women.

III. Activities and Budget:

Activity 1: Training Needs Assessment
– Conduct a baseline assessment to identify the training needs of the community: $500

Activity 2: Development of Training Curriculum
– Develop a comprehensive training curriculum on community mobilization and awareness campaigns: $1,000

Activity 3: Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop
– Conduct a ToT workshop with selected facilitators and trainers: $2,000

Activity 4: Community Training Sessions
– Organize training sessions for community members, leaders, and stakeholders: $3,000

Activity 5: Materials Development
– Develop training materials, handouts, and visual aids: $1,500

Activity 6: Awareness Campaigns
– Organize community-wide awareness campaigns, including rallies, public meetings, and street theater performances: $3,500

Activity 7: Evaluation and Monitoring
– Conduct post-training evaluations and monitor the impact of the training programs: $1,000

Activity 8: Documentation and Reporting
– Prepare project reports, case studies, and success stories to capture the project’s impact: $500

V. Sustainability Plan:
To ensure the sustainability of the project, a sustainability plan will be implemented, including:

1. Formation of Community Task Forces: Establish community task forces composed of trained individuals committed to continuing the awareness and mobilization work in the community.

2. Collaboration with Local NGOs and Institutions: Partner with local non-governmental organizations and institutions to continue providing support, resources, and follow-up training in the community.

3. Advocacy and Policy Engagement: Engage with policymakers and advocate for policy changes to address violence against women effectively.

4. Train-the-Trainer Programs: Develop a pool of local trainers who can replicate the training programs in other communities.
