Project Location: Vulnerable regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan provinces, Pakistan
Project Duration: 18 months
Project Budget: $97,200
Objective:
To promote climate-resilient agriculture practices, enhance agricultural productivity, and improve livelihoods of smallholder farmers in vulnerable regions.
Specific Objectives:
1. Train 200 smallholder farmers on climate-smart agriculture practices.
2. Establish 10 demonstration plots for climate-resilient crops.
3. Provide climate-resilient seed varieties to 500 farmers.
4. Enhance agricultural productivity by 25%.
5. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 200 tons annually.
Methodology:
1. Conduct baseline survey and community engagement.
2. Identify and select beneficiary farmers.
3. Provide training on climate-smart agriculture practices.
4. Establish demonstration plots for climate-resilient crops.
5. Distribute climate-resilient seed varieties.
Expected Outcomes:
1. Improved agricultural productivity.
