Product Description
Objective: To provide training on effective livestock management practices, improving productivity and income for smallholder farmers.
Target Group: Smallholder farmers engaged in livestock production
Location: District Khushab
Duration: 12 months
Activities:
1. Training and Capacity Building: Conduct workshops and training sessions on effective livestock management practices, including animal nutrition, health, and breeding.
2. Demonstration Farms: Establish demonstration farms to showcase best practices in livestock management.
3. Mentorship Program: Pair trained farmers with experienced mentors for guidance and support.
4. Input Support: Provide access to quality livestock inputs, such as vaccines and feed.
5. Market Access: Facilitate market access for farmers to sell their livestock products at competitive prices.
Expected Outcomes:
1. Improved Productivity: Farmers will increase their livestock productivity through improved management practices.
2. Increased Income: Farmers will increase their income through improved livestock productivity and market access.
3. Enhanced Food Security: Farmers will have access to a stable source of protein, improving food security.
Partnerships: Collaborate with local agricultural extension services, NGOs, and private sector organizations to leverage resources and expertise.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to assess project impact and make adjustments as needed.
